Policy 1: to encourage Transfer of Technology and reinforcing such policy amongst Government and Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs).

Policy 2: to encourage MDB’s to engage domestic Consultants as far as possible

Policy 3: to encourage Mergers and Joint Ventures amongst Consultants

Policy 4: to encourage and assist export of Consulting Engineering Service

Policy 5: to allow foreign professionals to come and work in Sri Lanka only if it is necessary and no domestic expertise is available
